BEST Autocentres Ltd collect and Process personal information, including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and vehicle details, for the purpose of carrying out the maintenance, repair and MOT testing of motor vehicles.

For some things we have a legal obligation to collect data, for example, the law obliges us to keep a register of any number plates supplied. DVSA regulations require us to keep personal details of all customers and vehicles booked in for MOT testing. We are required to collect vehicle and contact details for the purpose of warranty and safety recalls. Individuals do not have the right to object to the collection of information where it is required for legal, vital or contractual reasons.

BEST Autocentres Ltd have a legitimate interest in obtaining personal details for the purpose of sending MOT and Service reminders to our customers. While we regard this as beneficial safety advice, individuals have the right to object and restrict use of their personal data for this purpose.

BEST Autocentres collect email addresses for customers that have indicated a desire to utilise special offers from our website or other advertising. Individuals have an absolute right to object to the use of, and request erasure of, personal data for direct marketing.

Personal data will be held for no longer than 48 months unless we are obliged to do so by Warranty, legal or contractual requirements.

BEST Autocentres Ltd does not share lists of personal details with any other company or organisation unless legally required to do so.

Individuals have the right to know what personal information BEST Autocentres hold on them.

Individuals have the right to correct, object to, restrict and in some cases have erased, the personal information that BEST Autocentres hold on them.
