Wheel Alignment

REGULARLY CHECKING YOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT IS NOW MORE VITAL THAN EVER IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF ADAS CAMERA OR RADAR DEVICES ON YOUR CAR i.e lane assist, brake assist etc. INCORRECT WHEEL ALIGNMENT CAN SERIOUSLY AFFECT THE SETTINGS ON THE SENSORS.

We always recommend that new tyres are balanced and that you take advantage of our free wheel alignment check. tyres will wear unevenly and prematurely if the wheel alignment is not set correctly. Wheel alignment problems are caused by accidental collision with potholes, kerbs etc.

When the vehicle is driving forwards the wheels should be parallel to each other. When the front of the wheels point inwards (toe in) the tyres will wear on the outside edges. When the front of the wheels point outwards (toe out) the tyres will wear on the inside edges. REMEMBER we check wheel alignment free of charge … if we do not have to reset it then there is no cost.
